The Production Foundry arrived at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue at dawn to shoot aerials for an upcoming video. Luckily we planned it so that the sun was actually shining that morning – the first time in days! We set up and launched with the sun just rising, giving us amazing colors on the skyscrapers of Bellevue and the campus of Overlake itself.
Our FAA certified two man crew included our pilot Marty Reimer, there to fly the DJI S1000 drone and Mark Goodnow operating the camera. We flew above and over the buildings, between the two centers, and even all the way over downtown Bellevue to get the shots we needed.
At the end of the day we are very happy with the result! Flying a drone isn’t the easiest thing in the world but it definitely pays off in the final shots.
